This presentation brings together worksby Naomi Hawksley, Ingrid Yi-Chen Lu, and Emilia Wang, in which the artists surface their inner worlds through craft andthe handmade. Across the paintings anddrawings on view, structures of containment and suspension appear alongsidemotifs of accumulation and erasure. To-gether they pose the question: what arewe expected to hold—emotionally, so-cially, and metaphysically?
Through a sustained engagement with tactile and abstract form, these artiststrace the material dynamics that shapeour sense of place and home, tied todiasporic movement and intimationsof transcendence within the everyday. These gestures carry moral and mystical weight through reflections intimacy and estrangement.
